Teriyaki Burgers

Simple ingredients make this recipe easy to make. Can you add some mayo? Sure. A pineapple slice? Yes. But if you really want to enjoy the flavor of this juicy burger, try it first without the fruit. Then decide.


Ingredients Needed

The list is SHORT.

  • lean ground beef
  • teriyaki sauce
  • french fried onions
  • burger buns
  • cabbage

How to Make the Best Teriyaki Burgers

Three simple steps.

  1. Mix the meat, teriyaki, and french fried onions; shape into patties.
  2. Grill until done to your liking, brushing with more teriyaki sauce during cooking.
  3. Toast the buns, add some cabbage, and then plop on the burgers.

Done.


Burger Temps

Use an instant-read thermometer and when the temperature hits about 155°F, pull them off onto a plate, cover lightly with foil, and let them sit there for a few minutes. The internal temp should reach 160°F, which is considered safe for ground meat.
